Welcome to the Camden County Collector’s Taxpayer Portal

After 35+ years on our old mainframe-based system we determined that we needed to not only update our systems, but also to improve the Openness, Transparency and Usability of our systems to support our community. For the 2019 Tax Year, the total assigned taxes for Camden County are $74,080,162.00 which is made of $60,003,026.88 for real estate taxes and $14,077,135.12 for personal property taxes.A detailed overview of the taxes for each levy entity can be viewed by clicking here for personal property and clicking here for real estate. Also, if you have any questions or comments on the new system, you can send emails to collector@camdenmo.org by clicking here.

Many people have confusion or misunderstanding of how real estate and personal property taxes are determined. By understanding the taxation process, you can more easily determine where to go for questions associated to your individual issues.

Taxes are primarily determined by the valuation assigned to personal and real estate property and where that property is located. The rates for different taxation levies are established in public elections and meetings for the different areas and cities within the county. The County Collector does not have the ability to adjust taxes, only to collect those taxes as assigned.
